A Passion for Photography

After studying audio engineering, I found myself working in a recording studio. The owner of the studio was always developing artists and helping them with behind the scenes content (i.e. music videos, album covers, photoshoots, and branding). He had an especially talented lead engineer that would handle most of the work in the control room. In order for me to be of value and have continuous work, he introduced me to the art of photography and videography.

All of these elements are taken into consideration within my work: lighting, composition, framing, shutter speed, ISO, depth of field, long exposure, frame rates, editing, color correction, color grading, understanding contrast for black and white photography, focal length, lens distortion, flash photography, light metering, sync speed, how to make your subjects feel comfortable, and getting flattering shots for male and female subjects.
